To my SILLY boys,
Some days, you tire Mommy. I am very tired today. J, a couple days ago, as you and L were being silly, you decided to bite L on the arm. Didn't draw blood. But definitely left a mark. TODAY, as you and L were being silly, L decided to bite YOU on the arm. Didn't draw blood. And not much of a mark. Looks like turn about is fair play... Other silliness of the day: J. You are starting to sing. You will sing "Rock-a-bye Baby" to baby D when you hold him. But today's song of choice was "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam", complete with actions and all. But you say "beep" instead of "beam", so apparently Jesus wants you for a "sun-beep". L. You have this thing you do with your diaper. You pull the inner flaps up as high as you can, thus turning your diaper into a loin cloth. Today you pulled them higher than I had ever seen before. I am surprised the tabs didn't rip open and cause your diaper to fall off. Baby D. Still not much silliness from you. Your are only 6 weeks old, so it will be a little while before you contribute much. But you DID start smiling today. Quite a few times actually. And you have a bunch of new bottles that look really silly. Not your standard bottle. Britain's best (Mommy sometimes dreams she is from across the pond). Mommy. I know I am the one that writes to you, but I came up with an affective punishment that I think is silly. Nose on the wall. J, it makes you angry. Which makes Mommy chuckle. Trust me, you would rather have me laughing at you than getting frustrated with you. L, it makes you heart broken. Which slightly breaks Mommy's heart. But I know you play me with your sadness. So I am over your cries. I still love you, which is why I punish you. One day you sillies will understand. When you are trying to figure out how to discipline your own kids...
Love,
Mommy
