Joel: Do alligator eggs come out of their butt?
Me: [a giggle and a blush] Umm. No...
Joel: Then where do they come out of? Their tail?
Me: [stifling a laugh] No. They don't come out of their tail. They umm...
Joel: Do they come out of their tummy?
Me: [practically in tears] No, not their tummy either... Uh...
*long pause*
Joel: Well, don't worry about it, Mom.
Really didn't think we would be having this discussion already. Nor having it about alligators... I'm just not ready for this.
