My silly, imaginative J & L,
Usually, bedtime is a nightmare. Not sure what's up, but the last couple of weeks have been rough. So last night, Mommy & Dada pushed your beds together in hopes of calming down the sad hysterics. Nothing. Tonight, L, we told you that J is RIGHT next to you if you get scared. J, we told you to sing to L or share your bed if he got scared. No tears. No screaming. No fighting bedtime! About ten minutes after coming downstairs, Dada and I hear laughter. Loads and loads of giggles. A half an hour into your silly hysterics, Dada went up to try to calm you down. The two of you were sitting at your little play table. When Dada asked what you were doing, J, you told him, "eating pizza". Then you took a big imaginary bite. L, you jumped out of the chair and ran out of the room to the stair railing. "Pizza!" You ran back in as J ran out to get more "pizza" from the stair railing, too. J, you then told Dada that you had to, "drink juice" before taking a huge pretend gulp. Dada came down laughing about the whole incident. I love that you boys are developing an imagination!
Love,
Mommy
