To my two sillies, D & L,
D, today the cutest thing happened involving you. During Sunday school at church, I had you on my lap facing the row behind us. Our friends were sitting directly behind us with their little guy, baby M, facing forward. Baby M is just a week younger than you are and just as much of a chunk (weighing in at 10lbs at birth). After a few minutes of facing one another, both of you finally SAW one another. Stared at each other for quite a while. Then baby M flashed the BIGGEST smile while looking at you, little D. Tried "talking" with you, too. It was the most adorable thing EVER. D, you have a little buddy! L. Ugh. L, nighttime with you is just a nightmare. You scream. And scream. And scream and scream and scream. Have to have the door open. Have to have the light one in the hall. Have to have this. Have to have that. Have to have everything in between. But tonight, the sweetest, silliest little thing happened. I was running up the stairs long after your screaming had stopped. I caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye. To my surprise, it is you! You had come out of your room and stood at the landing upstairs and cried. You didn't stop because you went back into to your room and got into bed. You stopped because you passed out on the landing. Blankie and all. Oh L. You are exhaustingly adorable.
