Dearest silly scaredy-cat J,
Apparently, Mommy should not talk about bugs or insects for preschool. They freak you out. Last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I heard you crying. I go into your room to check out what is wrong. You said there was a bug on your bed. I look on your bed. Nothing. I look under your bed. Nothing. I look around your bed. Nothing. No bugs. You would NOT go back to sleep. Panicked anytime we turned out the hall light. Finally, it got to the point where you would only calm down if we were next to your bed. Dada and I looked at each other and decided what the heck. Party in our bed. Knowing we couldn't bring you into our bed without Lucas freaking out, we scooped both of you up and plopped you on our bed to sleep between us. NEVER AGAIN. I don't care if you are being eaten alive by cockroaches and spiders. You will sleep in your own bed. Period. End of subject.
Love,
Mommy
